New Update as on 08 June 2018: The department given an update (notification) in the newspaper about the 05 addition posts of Tehsildar. There were 03 posts of Tehsildar which has now been increased to 08.

PPSC Important Details
Educational Qualifications: The candidates should have passed the graduation degree from any recognized institute. Provided that the candidate may be permitted to take preliminary competitive Examination while studying for his degree. However, the applicant shall be required to produce of passing his/her degree for being eligible to take the main competitive examination during that year.
Note: The candidates applying for PPSC Competitive Exam 2018 should have passed the Punjabi up to matriculation level.
Age Limit: 21 to 28 years for DSP and Deputy Superintendent Jails/District Probation Officer and 21 to 37 years for other posts as on 01.01.2018.
Salary: Fixed emolument equal to the minimum of the pay band without any grade pay or any allowance will be paid during the probation period of 03 years.
