About Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test:

TET Punjab 2019 Online Apply

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Primary Stage (For Class I to IV): The applicant must have passed 12th standard with at least 50% marks or must be appearing in the final year of a 02-year diploma in Elementary Education, OR Senior Secondary with minimum 45% marks or should be appearing in the final year of (02-Years) diploma in Elementary education Or Senior Secondary with 50% marks or must be appearing in the final year of (04-Years) B.El.Ed.
  2. Elementary Stage (For Class V-VIII): The applicant must have passed graduation (Bachelors degree) with at least 50% marks or must be appearing in the final year of a 02-year Diploma or B.Ed OR Graduation with minimum 45% marks or appearing in the 1st year of B.Ed. OR Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks or must be appearing in the final year of (04-Year) B.El.Ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education) OR Sr. Secondary with minimum 50% marks or must be appearing in the final year of (04-Year) BA/ B.Sc. B.Ed or Graduation or BA Ed/ B.Sc. Ed or must be appearing in the 1st year of B.Ed. (Special).

Selection Process:

The selection process for the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test is going to be on the basis of written test and interview.

Exam Pattern:

There will be two examinations for Punjab State TET, each examination is containing 150 questions of 150 marks. Thus as per two examinations, the total question paper will be of 300 (Three Hundred) marks.

PSTET Syllabus:

The PSTET 2019 Syllabus for both of the subjects is different. Below we have mentioned the subjects according to papers for Punjab TET 2019 online. There will be 150 MCQs in the examination of 01 marks each.

Result & Qualifying Marks:

Once the examination process has been completed you can check PSTET result on the official website. In order to qualify for the Punjab TET examination, you will have to score at least 60% marks. The candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC category have 5% of relaxation in marks.
